This Privacy Policy explains what information PE Pharmas (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit pepharmas.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website only.
Who we are
PE Pharmas is a brand of PE Productions LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. PE Pharmas is a supplier of research chemicals and laboratory supplies intended strictly for laboratory research use. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Order information. When you place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and the contents of your order.
- Account information. If you create an account, we store your name, email address, password (in encrypted form) and saved addresses.
- Contact form and email. If you contact us we keep your name, email address and the content of your message so we can respond and keep a record of the inquiry.
- Age and use confirmation. When you first enter the site you are asked to confirm that you are 21 or over and that you are acquiring products for laboratory research use only. We record only that a confirmation was given, using a short-lived value stored in your own browser.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data. Our host records standard server log data including IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of your request. This is used for security, fraud prevention and diagnosing problems.
- Cookies and similar storage. See “Cookies” below.
Payment information
We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV or bank credentials on our servers. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, which receives the payment details directly from you and shares with us only what we need to fulfill and account for the order (for example, confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card).
Cookies
We use cookies and equivalent browser storage for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary. Keeping items in your cart, keeping you signed in, and processing checkout. The site cannot work without these.
- Entry confirmation. Remembering, for the duration of your visit, that you confirmed your age and research-use status, so you are not asked repeatedly. This value expires when you close your browser or after a period of inactivity.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the cart and checkout will not function.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill and ship your order, and to handle returns and damage claims.
- To communicate with you about your order or your inquiry.
- To verify eligibility to purchase and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
- To maintain, secure and improve the website.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to perform a function on our behalf, and only for that purpose:
- Our web host and site infrastructure provider.
- Our payment provider, for processing transactions.
- Shipping carriers, for delivering your order.
- Our email provider, for order and support correspondence.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety or property. If the business is sold or transferred, customer records may transfer with it.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Contact form messages are kept while the inquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Security
The site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to customer data is limited to people who need it to run the business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your account and associated personal information, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
- Stop contacting you, other than about an order already placed.
Send any of these requests to support@pepharmas.com from the email address on the account. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law; we will honour those rights where they apply.
Children
This website is not directed to anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where we operate
We ship to the United States and US territories only. Information you provide is processed in the United States.
Governing Law
This policy, and any dispute about privacy or data arising from your use of this site, is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the site.
